We offer Hereford/Angus beef and Dorper/Katahdin lamb:
All of our products are grown using organic and sustainable farming practices, ensuring that our customers receive the best, freshest and healthiest produce possible.
Hair sheep are smaller than wool sheep and have a lower carcass weight. These breeds, like Dorper and Katahdin, naturally shed their winter coats in late spring. Hair sheep are bred for meat, not wool, so they do not produce lanolin, which gives wool lamb it’s gamey flavor.
Experience THE DORPER/KATAHDIN DIFFERENCE and learn for yourself what makes this meat so mild, delicate and delicious!
Dorper lamb can be prepared and cooked any way you would normally treat beef or comparable protein. We believe in keeping your ingredient list to a minimum as to preserve the integrity of the meat.
Welcome to Ella’s Farm. We are a certified organic livestock farm,
family-owned and operated. We grow healthy, well-treated, pasture raised, free roaming,
Hereford/Angus cows and Dorper/Katahdin sheep.
Our journey started with an authentic desire to feed our own children (all 4 of them) natural, pure and healthy food.
Our animals are growing on green and never-sprayed pastures of our 140 acre farm.
We choose to follow sustainable practices of rotational grazing as this
type of farming benefits the soil, our animals, and the environment.
Our commitment to regenerative farming techniques balances carbon
emissions and ensures that more carbon stays in the ground.
At Ella's Farm, we believe in sustainable farming practices that promote the health of our land, our animals, and our customers. We use only our own natural manure fertilizers and natural pest control methods. We rotate our animals according to grazing methods based on soil condition, and conserve water to ensure that our farming practices are environmentally responsible. We believe that we have to do everything possible to help our planet to rejuvenate and leave a better food supply system for the next generations. Our small contribution to the global soil regeneration effort is our mission.
Our farm is certified by Pro-Cert as organic!
